My favorite place in Dallas! I moved away 3 years ago and as soon as I visited I made sure to come back! Just as amazing as I remembered! I La La loooove the escargot, ahi tuna tacos and the mocktail cucumber gimlet blew me away! But of course it's the ambiance and decor that has my heart. Can I please have them decorate my house?! Bowen House will always be a top shelf recommendation for friends and family visiting the Big D!

Fabulous spot for drinks and apps for a date or girls' night! Ambiance & Service: Moody, dimly lit with candles and chandeliers--upscale vibes. Service was attentive and efficient, though the happy hour menu could use drink descriptions. Food & Drink: - Laurel Canyon Spritz & Power Hour: The spritz was lemony and refreshing, while the Power Hour had a lovely passionfruit sweetness. - Fried Brie: Perfectly melty with a blueberry preserve that balanced the richness. - Fries: Thin, crunchy, and served with tasty sauces like honey mustard and ranch. TL;DR: Upscale vibe, delicious apps, and refreshing drinks--perfect for a chic night out! Try the spritz, power hour, and fried Brie!

DALLAS GEM! 5/5 Ambiance, darker lighting but its perfect for the mood and energy. Clean and beautiful art/furnishings. We stayed in the private back room. 4/5 Food, Only standout was the fried brie, but thats not to say the food was also well made. 6/5 Drinks, I am honestly not one to get countless cocktails as I genuinely prefer hard liquor straight. This was a special occasion, well made drinks and our waiter/bartender was phenomenal. All in all a 5/5 Dallas gem for cocktail night, I will be coming back in the future.

Super intimate restaurant/cocktail bar set in a historic house. The food and drinks were all so delicious and service was very good. There's an incredible back room that has a separate bar and is a little more intimate. Definitely recommend calling to make a reservation otherwise you might end up waiting a while due to the small size. They also have happy hour every day from 4-6 which is a huge plus!

How have I never been to Bowen House until now??? The vibes here are absolutely immaculate! It's the perfect mix of an upscale bar and an old-school New Orleans speakeasy. The dim lighting and the overall aesthetic? Next-level. Getting a spot inside was borderline impossible, so we had to work some magic to score a table in the back room bar--honestly, I think I liked it more than the main area. The bartender in the back was super cool, and the drinks? Not only some of the best in Dallas, but genuinely some of the best I've had in the US. I'm already hyped to go back. Bowen House is a must-visit if you're into great cocktails and an unforgettable atmosphere!

Bowen House is one of the best cocktail bars in Dallas. It's been a staple of the cocktail scene for 10+ years for a reason. I've posted about BH in the past but it may be getting better so I had to share a recent date night experience. Pasha Heidari knows how to create wonderful elevated cocktail experiences. Service and attention to detail is his secret. From the moment you walk in the door you're greeted by the sharply dressed manager to make you feel welcome. That's a memorable touch you don't see very often. The quality of the cocktail program and food are just as exceptional as the service. They create new cocktail recipes each season and the whiskey options for the fall season did not disappoint. I had the Root Scootin Boogie (photo 1) and Apples to Apples Dust to Dust (photo 3). Both were creative and tasty. Check out the recipes in the menu photo. Go to Bowen House for fantastic cocktails in one of the most beautiful spaces in Dallas. Salute
